Frequently asked boarding questions
|What is required to board?
Dogs and cats must up to date on rabies vaccinations and must provide a rabies certificate from a licensed vet, per state regulation. Dogs must have current distemper and bordatella/parainfluenza vaccines. Cats must have current distemper vaccines. Vaccination records must be provided prior to or at the time of dropoff.
|Does my dog need to be licensed?
Pennsylvania state law requires that all dogs have a current license and rabies vaccination.
If your dog’s license is expired, you may be fined by a state dog warden for failure to license your dog.
While the lack of a license will not prohibit you from boarding your dog at this facility, please be aware that dog wardens routinely inspect boarding kennels in the state of Pennsylvania.
|What do I need to bring?
Any bedding, blankets, food, treats, chews, toys, or comforting items from home.
|Do I need to provide food for my pet’s stay?
We highly recommend providing your own food for any animal with special diets, sensitive stomachs, allergies, or for pets that would feel more comfortable with their routine diet. For any dog or cat who has never been boarded before, we require that you provide your own food to accustom your pet to the boarding experience.
|What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations require 48 hours advance notice. Any cancellations less than 48 hours from the time of reservation will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
